Tech Style T-Shirt….Doubt You Wear This Fam!!!

There was already an iPad T-Shirt out in the world(how ridiculous and now Enter the Smartphone Syte Shirt. The screen protector still accepts finger touches, and it’s both dust and water resistant, it’s $39.95. and if I see you with one on, I’m gonna clown you, seriously! @TatWza

Blackberry KiK’d that App that IFWT Blew up!!!!!

So top of this month (Nov 1st to be exact) we broke a Messenger App called Kik, which works on Blackberry, Android AND iPhone, and once we did the internet took to it Like Wildfire!!! (After the Jump please see the chart from Kik showing when they took off!) Since the App is compared to BBM, RIM has slowly been pulling away, and well it Looks like RIM has made a final decision after having pulled the wildly popular upstart instant messaging app from the BlackBerry App World a few days ago and for current and hopeful Kik users, the news isn’t good: “RIM became aware of a number of issues and customer concerns regarding the Kik app and service. Following discussions with Kik, the app was removed from BlackBerry App World on November 12. Upon further investigation, RIM concluded that Kik had breached contractual obligations. Based on the broad scope and seriousness of the issues and concerns, RIM terminated its agreements with Kik and withdrew RIM’s support for Kik’s service.” Now, Waterloo is still being pretty coy about what exactly Kik did to rock the boat so badly, but there are two obvious theories floating around: one, that Kik’s contact harvesting was a big privacy no-no; and two, that the product came a little too close to BBM’s functionality for RIM’s comfort. Hard to say what went down, and Kik’s official response doesn’t do much to clear up the situation. Though the company has thrown up a public response on its…

Apple has Official Twitter….Get your Chance to get an FREE iPad

Apple has an official(just not verified) twitter account, AppleIncNews. This Twitter account has been blasting off links to Apple press releases since the iPad’s January and from time-to-time has shot out some interesting teasers. For instance, hours before the Verizon iPad announcement Apple let its almost 60,000 followers know more iPad distribution channels were coming. Apple also announced their October 20th ‘Back to the Mac’ event on their Twitter and is apparently holding an iPad giveaway for its 1 million Twitter followers (Notice the day it started)! Although this supposed Apple-run Twitter is not verified it is in fact followed by Apple’s own Philip Schiller – That’s the basis we think it’s substantial. Another thing to note is that some of Apple’s non-RSS tweets came from Twitter for iPhone. Oh, and hopefully 100 awesome people get that 64 GB iPad! @TatWza

HMMM Do I Call or Text 911 about this Craziness????

Although texting is like the biggest thing in the world right now, how useful is it??? well the FCC is thinking of making texting very useful by at receiving MMS and even streaming video so that you could send pictures and footage of their hugely advanced tactics. But don’t Text 911 while driving and get into an accident, also I would hold up on the prank text to 911 about aliens!!!! @TatWza
