Jas Prince Sues Cash Money For $11 Million Over Drake
Jas Prince has been at odds with Cash Money for some time now, after he reportedly never received the royalties he’s due for bringing Drake to them. At this point, it seems the only way you get your money from Birdman and co. is by suing, so I guess Jas is on the right path! The Rap-A-Lot Records heir says in the lawsuit that Cash Money was to pay him 22% of all of Drake’s royalties, net profits and other advances – which now totals up to $11 million. The tricky part is – Drake was signed to Jas’ Aspire Music Group, and Jas says Wayne and Drake’s manager, Cortez Bryant, breached the original agreement by shuffling Drizzy over to Young Money from Cash Money. Unfortunately, due to Jas’ role with Aspire (I’m unsure of what that role is,) he can’t legally sue Cash Money, so now he’s asking the court to appoint a receiver to do so on his behalf. For their part, Cash Money denies they owe Jas 22% of anything. Wonder if he’ll get his coins!
What A Friend! Jas Prince Gifts Drake With WHAT?!
After finishing up the first leg of his Jungle Tour, Canadian artist Drake headed over to VIP Room in New York City to party it up. He celebrated along with his buds Future, Jim Jones, Chubbs and none other than Jas Prince– the man responsible for discovering Drake. As a gift to Drizzy, Prince sent over Drake a $20K bottle of Ace of Spades champagne for all of his hard work and success. After they all left VIP Room, they headed over to Up & Down nightclub where Prince popped another six bottles to drink with the Champagne Papi himself. Prince is currently having legal issues with Cash Money due to the fact he feels as if they owe him $$ for Drake royalties since he is the main person who discovered Drizy, not them. I’m lucky if my friends buy me Wendy’s and Drake is out here getting LQ in the club that costs the same amount as my car. SHEESH, must be nice!

To make this whole baby break ordeal even more awkward, Chris Brown was spotted partying it up with fellow industry big wig Jas Prince just days after the news broke of his 9-month-old child. Chris Brown is always partying, so that is nothing out of the ordinary BUT however, Jas Prince’s ex girlfriend is none other than Nia Guzman— the Houston model who got knocked up by Breezy. Prince flew to Sin City as CB’s VIP guest backstage where the two partied it up all night and flicked it up for the ‘Gram as if Chris didn’t just shoot up his ex-girl’s club and make a surprise baby with her. He captioned the photo, “Last night with the bros @jharden13 @chrisbrownofficial #DraisLasVegas.” I meannnnnnn, I guess guys aren’t as catty as females but I know damn well if my “homegirl” smashes my ex (and ESPECIALLY raw) and gets her pregnant– WE ARE NOT HANGING OUT FOR SH*T! Christina Milian’s former fiancé is really making an attempt to run down on folk for extra cash. I mean, extra green is always a good thing, but when you have to use a deadly weapon to obtain it, it’s probably not for you. Earlier this year, Jas filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Cash Money and Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant.
