Boxing: Don’t Get Your Hopes Up, Floyd Mayweather Could Fight Amir Khan Instead of Manny Pacquiao

Like many other boxers, Amir Khan has been vying for a fight with undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather.  Khan says Mayweather had agreed to fight him and the fans even picked that bout over Marcos Maidana in a poll but in a shock to Khan and everyone else, Mayweather decided to fight Maidana instead.  Following that win, he and Maidana had a rematch and Khan was left out in the cold once again.  That didn’t stop Khan from lobbying for the fight and on Saturday night he took another step closer to getting one.


NFL Report: Percy Harvin Won’t Take Pay Cut To Stay With the Jets

After reports that he was a locker room cancer amongst other things, Percy Harvin’s trade to the New York Jets have worked out well for him.  He’s been producing on the field and there hasn’t been any reports of disruption amongst the team, although they’re playing pretty horribly.  But things won’t remain this way, Harvin will cause a dilemma going forward.

Two female college basketball players sue Pepperdine, claiming the University is running them off the basketball team because they are involved in a lesbian relationship.

Okay I get it, traveling isn’t called very often in the NBA but this was an egregious miss by the referees.  During the Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, Corey Brewer made his way down the court with no regard for the rules.
