Method Man” is the B-side to the single “Protect Ya Neck” from critically acclaimed debut album by the Wu-Tang Clan titled Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). It was a solo track for the first successful solo star of the Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man. The song was chosen for The Source magazine 100 best rap singles. The refrain of the song (M-E-T-H-O-D) draws from the 1984 Hall & Oates hit “Method of Modern Love” from Big Bam Boom. It is featured on The RZA Hits compilation. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COMMON!!! Resurrection” is the second single from rapper Common’s 1994 album Resurrection. Its piano-led beat, produced by No I.D., contains samples from “The Signs Pt. II” by David Axelrod, “Dolphin Dance” by Ahmad Jamal, “Sorcerer of Isis” by Power of Zeus, “Ice” by Spirit and both “Why Can’t People Be Colors Too?” and “Help Is on the Way” by The Whatnauts. Reel to Reel is the debut album by Grand Puba. It was Puba’s first solo venture, following group projects with the likes of the short lived group Masters of Ceremony and Brand Nubian. Both of the group’s albums were critically acclaimed but failed to duplicate that success in terms of album sales. The album was largely produced by Puba himself, with help from the Stimulated Dummies, Kid Capri and others. Reel to Reel includes the number one Rap hit “360 Degrees (What Goes Around)”, as well as the singles “Check it Out” (featuring a young Mary J.
