No Malice Explains Why We Won’t Be Getting A Clipse Reunion Any Time Soon

The Clipse, a rap group hailing from VA comprised of brothers Pusha T and Malice, dominated the early 00’s with hits like “Grindin” and “What Happened To That Boy,” but after a few years of paddy wagon cruisin’, we seemed to be getting a lot more from the guys individually than as a collective. Pusha T would go on to sign to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, while Malice found God, changed his name to No Malice and drastically changed the direction of his music and its message. Now that they’ve each had time to thoroughly explore their solo careers, fans have been hoping they’d get The Clipse back together, even if only for a side project, but it doesn’t appear that’s ever going to happen. At least not any time soon. In a recent interview, Push revealed that his brother really has no interest in the reunion, and now No Malice has come forward to explain why. A major part of the reason is his newfound religion has him highly uncomfortable performing their old drug reference-filled songs. “I believe my brother and I… we can get together and pull off anything,” he said. “But as far as my beliefs and as far as me facilitating anything that brings death, destruction and demise, I’m not going to do that.” However, don’t give up all hope! No Malice DID say that if they were to get together and make some NEW music, he might be game. Let’s see what happens!
