(Photo) Dope! Guess Who Rihanna Is Dropping A Collab With Next Week!

A week from today, Shakira will be premiering her brand new single, “Can’t Remember To Forget You,” featuring none other than Rihanna. Both sexy songstresses revealed the news on Twitter just moments ago, along with the single’s artwork. Rih ended 2013 with her 13th number one single, and this seems like it just may bring her tally to 14! The track is the first single off Shakira’s forthcoming album, dropping some time in the first quarter on RCA/Sony Latin Iberia.

(Photos) Kayo Redd Put To Rest This Past Weekend! #RIP

“Kayo was full of life and color,” says Debra Antney about her recently deceased son, Kayo Redd, real name Coades Scott in reference to the attire she wanted attendees to wear for her son’s burial this past Saturday. No black, Antney requested. Redd passed away shortly after Christmas from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the up-coming emcee was sent out in style as a horse and carriage carried his coffin. The streets of Conley, GA were filled as people paid their last respects. Once laid to rest, attendees let go of red, orange and white ballons. Antney’s mother even released white doves as she stated, “You’ll always be my baby.” Sad. R.I.P.! Hit the jump for the scene.

Despite The Controversy, Jay Z’s Barney’s Collection Brought In Over $1 Million For Charity

Jay Z had only just announced his holiday line with upscale retail giant Barney’s this past fall, when the company was embroiled in a huge racial-profiling controversy. After a couple weeks of radio silence, Hov finally addressed the situation, as many were urging him to back out of the deal. In a statement, the hip-hop mogul said he wouldn’t “prematurely pull out” of the collab until he knew all of the facts, adding, “I am against discrimination of any kind, but if I make snap judgements, no matter who it’s towards, aren’t I committing the same sin as someone who profiles?” In the end, Hov stuck with Barney’s, and reconfigured the deal so that 100% of the profits would go to his charity, The Shawn Carter Foundation, rather than the initial 25% originally agreed upon. He also helped created a council at Barney’s “specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling.” Though reports of holiday sales are still being tallied, sales for the line’s six-week run have surpassed the $1 million mark as of Friday. All profits from the sale of the goods went to the foundation, and Barneys also pledged 10% of its entire store’s profits from the first day the items went on sale. Awesome!

(Photos) Lil Kim Facing Lawsuit Over Face

Not her face, though. The Queen Bee is currently in a legal battle with Canadian makeup artist Samantha Ravndahl, who claims the raptress took her creation (above) off of Reddit and used it online to promote her music…with zero credit to Samantha. Back in November, Sam sent a cease and desist for Kim to pull the image, but nothing happened. Now Samantha and her lawyer are preparing to sue for a $150k minimum. I’m not sure she really has a case, though, as it was only Instagram and the artwork for a single that wasn’t sold for profit. Also, a quick glance at Kimmy’s IG and I don’t see the photo anywhere. I’m thinking this won’t get too much further.
