Last year, “I Like That” singer Houston (you know, the one that had the emotional breakdown in 2005 and gauged his eye out…) was popped for a DUI when he was pulled over for driving erratically in Malibu. Luckily for him, he got off pretty easy in court. The DUI charge was reduced to a minor traffic infraction, and the $100 fine was suspended. I wonder what else he’s up to these days, though..

Finally! Apple Fixes THIS Problem!!!

Apple has fixed a flaw with its iPhone and iPad lock screens which allowed hackers to easily break into a user’s iOS 6.1 devices. It was possible to bypass the four-digit lock screen and gain full access to go through parts photos, emails,contacts, voice mail and other private data. The new update, 6.1.3, fixes lock screen vulnerability bug as well some updates to Maps in Japan.

The digital age is giving power back to the artist and making them less dependent on the record labels. Artists have more control of their own music, artistic direction, artwork and promotions. With social media it gives artists the outlets necessary to promote their own brands but is there still a large amount of profit being made? According to RapRehab, If you take an artist with a major label deal and has signed an agreement entitling them to a low royalty profit on their CD sale. It would take the sale of 3871 units to equal a minimum wage salary of $1,160 a month.


Samsung Working On A New Product!!!!!

According to Reuters, Samsung Electronics Co is developing a wearable digital device similar to a wristwatch, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said, joining rival Apple Inc in creating new products as growth of smartphone sales slows. The new wristwatch should perform some of the same tasks as a smartphone. “We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long,” Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business, told Bloomberg News. “We are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them.”
