Plaxico Burress was hoping to have a resurgent season this year where his career started with the Pittsburgh Steelers. That may not happen at all now. Paul Pierce loves to talk trash. When he was in Boston, it was no secret he had no love at all for the Knicks organization. The rivalry between the teams was fierce, even though admittedly, for the majority of his career, the Celtics always seemed to have the upper hand against New York. Being famous in this country gets you alot of things. It also gets you out of alot of things as well. One thing it seems nobody can escape, regardless of your social status is jury duty! Lebron James found that out himself this week, as he was forced to report for duty at the Summit county courthouse in downtown Akron, Ohio. He even did it with a smile. I am sure the court never actually planned to pick him for a trial, but nonetheless, he caused quite a stir by even showing up. He wound up being sent home a couple hours after reporting to the court, after wasting a few hours for no reason, just like we all have. Hit the jump for the video.

I’m not surprised at all that ESPN is did this. Robert Griffin III’s story in the NFL has just begun and it’s already crazy, so it can only get better from here. Redskins fans will love this. NFL: Cool or Nah?! Black Player & White Player On Lions Call Each Other “Ni—-” & “Cracker”
In light of the whole Riley Cooper situation, we have another racial story … and it’s got an interesting twist. I’d love to know how people feel about this?! Two players on the Detroit Lions — one black and one white — call each other ni—- & cracker. They obviously have a pretty good friendship if they’re calling each other racial slurs. Some people may not agree with what they’re doing. I think people should live their life the way they want if they aren’t hurting anyone. So if that’s what they like to do, who are we to judge?!
