X-Men star Famke Janssen (known as Phoenix in the wildly popular movie franchise) stopped by The Whoolywood Shuffle recently to chop it up with the one-and-only DJ Whoo Kid. During the interview, Famke discussed everything from wanting to have a booty like Beyonce, she learned what the Shmoney Dance was ( which she thought was the Smurf – whet?!) and reveals there are more X-Men movies going into production. Watch the full interview below.
A Florida teen by the name of Jamal Rutledge was handcuffed and being booked for criminal mischief and burglary in a Fort Lauderdale jail back in September, when his arresting officer suddenly fell out of his chair and on to the floor while grasping his chest. After quickly jumping up and checking on him (while still handcuffed,) Jamal reacted fast and began kicking the door repeatedly to call the attention of other officers in the building.
It turns out Officer Foulks was suffering from a serious heart attack, and he likely would have lost his life if it wasn’t for Jamal and the assisting officers that were able to get him a defibrillator! Once stabilized, Foulks was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received emergency medical attention.
Jamal Rutledge and the 3 other officers will now be publicly honored for their acts of heroism during a meeting with the Fort Lauderdale City Commission later this month. No word on his charges though, LOL. Crazy how the world works! Check out the footage below.
Well, isn’t this a big ol’ co-inky-dink. Following Christina Milian’s recently expressed feelings for Lil Wayne, the rapper’s other baby mom comes out from the darkness. During a overseas discussion with Team Curtains, Nivea talks a new album, possibly doing reality television, co-parenting with Lil Wayne and The Dream as well as her relationship with the “Start A Fire” songstress.
Have your tea ready to drop down bottom for the shade.
…and not that’s it’s over, I’ll never be sober… Love the track. Soon after the release of the very well choreographed visual for “Sober“, Childish Gambino drops by the Jimmy Kimmel show to perform the track live. As a bonus, the ‘Bino (I love handing out nicknames) also performs “3005” off his album Because the Internet.
Check out the excitement down bottom.
Over the weekend, video footage surfaced of singer/songwriter Keri Hilson performing at a VERY…and I mean VERY…empty stadium, naturally prompting ridicule from people on the web. People began clowning her for her “irrelevance in music,” her “dwindling career” and more, but Miss Keri Baby shut them all down in one simple tweet.
“I spent my day being ridiculed for getting paid $100,000 in one night, to do what I love 4 years after being publicly relevant. FML,” Keri wrote, adding some laughing emojis at the end for the full effect. You tell em, girl! At the end of the day, she still got her money…and she hasn’t even TRIED to put music out in recent years, so you can’t diss her by saying she’s irrelevant musically, because she’s not attempting to be! Oh, and you know she’s not broke either – not only is she dating a NBA star, but songwriting is LUCRATIVE, oftentimes more so than an actual singing career. Keri Hilson is going to be just fine.
Check out the video clip below and her tweet in the gallery!
Looking for some tension relief; turn your volumes up for this track. Producer Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars perform “Uptown Funk” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Talk about a party and a good ol’ time … Bruno and his crew got the entire studio audience, and Ellen, of course got in on some of the upbeat choreography. This has to be one of the best performances of the new year.
Check it out after the jump.

Jordin Sparks made her way to Ebro In The Morning on Hot 97 yesterday with Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, and had a few choice words for the ladies’ favorite rapper/singer when asked if she’d move on from Jason Derulo to him.
So Lira Galore, fear not – Jordin does NOT want your boo Drake!
“I’m probably the only girl in the world that’s not… I just don’t…” Jordin said in response to Drizzy. “You’re not turned on by Drake? He doesn’t do it for you,” Rosenberg replied. “No.”
Let’s hope he doesn’t throw a little sub her way on Twitter now! Ha! Check out the full clip below.
