The sporting world is changing and some people are ahead of the curve. Sports are no longer restricted to physical play on a field or court somewhere. They have now expanded into the living room and to be more specific, into our televisions via “Esports”. There is some serious money involved believe it or not and two superstars in the sporting world themselves wanted to make sure they were involved.

Tragedy struck last night during a baseball game in Atlanta between the Braves and Yankees. A fan, who was reportedly drunk and heckling Alex Rodriguez from the upper deck, wound up falling over the railing and landing on concrete in the stands behind homeplate, which was roughly a 100 foot drop. Paramedics rushed to the scene but the fan passed away later on.

In all the years of professional baseball only 28 players have made it to the magical 3,000 hit mark. Alex Rodriguez now becomes number 29 on the list after he hit a homerun in the first inning tonight at Yankee Stadium.
