With a fight the status of this Saturday’s bout, you know the star power will be out in full force for the main event. Turns out the star power was in the house for the weigh in just as much.

Showtime did a great job with the Kobe Bryant “Muse” documentary, so I only expect great things when they air the “Iverson” doc on May 16th. Allen Iverson’s impact on the NBA as a whole is still to this day very underrated, not too mention his greatness as a player. He never really had a great supporting cast and he never complained. He might not have liked “practice” so much, but when it was game time, he went harder than anyone and played much bigger than his 6 foot frame. Check out the trailer below.
Legendary guard Allen Iverson recently said that he’s the biggest Russell Westbrook fan and that the Oklahoma City Thunder guard reminds him a lot of himself, which many people would agree on. Westbrook was of course asked about the comments from Iverson and admitted that he was flattered but did he watch Iverson growing up?
Allen Iverson wants back in the NBA. This time he wants in from the executive level as he is trying to campaign for a front office job. Iverson no doubt had the biggest heart of maybe any player we had seen at the NBA level but does that mean he would be good at evaluating talent of other players? He seems to think so.
It has been reported time and time again that Allen Iverson has blown through the millions and millions of dollars he made in his NBA career. There have been some documented money issues so I guess it is understandable for people to think that, but as usual, we never knew the full story. The answer is far from broke and he has one smart friend to thank for making sure he will be set for life.
