NBA: Bernard King Says Injuries Will Determine Whether the Knicks or Nets Are the Better Team

The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets rivalry is being pushed strongly by the media and fans alike.  With the addition of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Nets and Andrea Bargnani and Metta World Peace to the Knicks and both teams already having a stacked squad, the question remains who will come out on top next season.  Bernard King was asked his take on the situation and said injuries will be the key.

2013 Hall of Fame inductee and New York Knicks Bernard King became the first person in 20 years to score at least 50 points in two straight games, doing so on January 30th and 31st, 1984, dropping 50 points in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs and then scoring 50 points the next night in a win over the Dallas Mavericks. This Wednesday, September 4th, in honor of his upcoming election into the Hall Of Fame, NBA TV will air the documentary “Unstoppable”, based on the career of Knicks legend Bernard King. It will look back on all his accomplishments, including some legendary scoring games, and battles with other hall of famers. If you don’t know about Bernard and you consider yourself a Knicks fan, you better watch this. Hit the jump.
