Bobby Shmurda has sat in prison for about a year now. The 21-year-old is facing a hefty amount of weapons and conspiracy to commit murder charges. With the back-and-forths, bail denials, and more, there is a silver lining in the rapper’s dark cloud. Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive that purchased the one copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, happens to be in the works to assist with Bobby’s release. Apparently, Bobby Shmurda’s Bail Wasn’t Denied – His Team Withdrew The Request!

Last week, we reported that Bobby Shmurda‘s “bulletproof” bail application had been denied a sixth time, but apparently, that wasn’t the entire story! Bossip reveals that a judge didn’t actually have the chance to deny it, as Bobby‘s lawyer requested that the bail application be retracted. The reason is not known, as it was off the record and not available in the court documents. “Yes your honor, we are not moving forward with the surety hearing at this time,” Bobby‘s lawyer, Alex Spiro, is quoted as telling the judge. In the meantime, the judge changed his bail conditions, and he can now only use cash or a surety bond to go free.


Bobby Shmurda Will Remain Behind Bars….Judge Denies Attempt To Post Bond

Thursday, Bobby Shmurda and his team of lawyers stood before a New York City judge and attempted to post the $2 million bond, that has had him behind bars for almost a year now. Locked up on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, Shmurda, his lawyers and family were certain they had everything in order to post bond and have the rapper home for the holidays, however the judge wasn’t having it and denied the bond. According to TMZ, the bail arrangement has now been changed and Bobby’s camp will have to come up with a new plan. He is scheduled for another court date next month. Hopefully, his lawyers can come up with something in time for the New Year.
