CBS is betting big on Greg Garcia, ordering two comedy pilots from the Raising Hope showrunner as well as a comedy executive produced by Easy A’s Will Gluck and a drama about a Kennedy-esque family from Frank Marshall. ‘Raising Hope’s’ Greg Garcia Inks 4-Year Deal With CBS Television Studios. For Garcia, the two comedies come eight months after the former My Name Is Earl Emmy winner jumped ship from 20th Television and inked a rich four-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios. CBS Reveals Debut Date For Stephen King’s ‘Under the Dome’!!
At the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, CBS announced that Under the Dome will premiere on Monday, June 24th at 10pm. Based on the Stephen King novel, the series comes from writer/executive producer Brian K. Vaughan (Y the Last Man, Lost), with King also executive producing. CBS Wants Another Season Of ‘Two And A Half Men’ With Angus. T. Jones !!!
CBS wants to proceed with an 11th season of “Two and a Half Men” and would like Angus T. Jones to be part of it.Jones’ future on the popular sitcom came into question after he slammed “Two and a Half Men” on a viral YouTube video in November. But CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler says all is forgiven. “The kid’s 19 years old. I have a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there are plenty of things my kid has said that I wish he hadn’t,” Tassler told reporters Saturday after her executive media session at the Television Critics Association press tour.
