The Alternative Press’ inaugural AP Music Awards went down last night at Cleveland’s Voinovich Park, right next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rockers and rappers alike came out to support the first award show of its kind, including Cleveland’s own Machine Gun Kelly (pictured above on the red carpet with his hypeman Slim, drummer Rook and artist Dub-O), Ice T (who brought his son and his dog, LOL), Korn, Billy Corgan and so many more legendary artists. Like his boss Lil Wayne, Drake is building a reputation as a bandwagon fan. Since he’s scheduled to host the 2014 ESPYS next Wednesday, July 16, he hopped on a media conference call to answer a few questions. Of course the big news was LeBron James going back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The city is now big in sports since they have Johnny Manziel on the Cleveland Browns in addition to James and No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins on the Cavs, all of whom are close friends with Drake. This means we’ll be seeing much more of the rap superstar in Cleveland, in fact he wants a home there.

When news that Lebron was going to allegedly announce his decision yesterday broke, fans who live near his Cleveland area home rushed to be on the scene. It’s not that they expected to see Bron, they just wanted to feel apart of something. Yesterday we showed you how the scene outside his home looked with crazed fans. Later however there came reports of car accidents outside the home with all the traffic on the street! Somebody’s insurance just went up while trying to see what Lebron would do only to have another day pass with no announcement. Nobody was injured but I bet people are mad at themselves today! Over the holiday weekend, Machine Gun Kelly caught a flight from his current city of Los Angeles, and headed back to his hometown in Cleveland to spend some time with his little one. Sharing the pics via Instagram, Kels and his daughter Casie seemed to have quite a good time at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, located in downtown Cleveland.
