Queen Bey took her talents to Brooklyn this week to shoot her latest music video. Of course the city was in a frenzy so much that they forgot about a poor woman who was riding the ferris wheel at Coney Island…. for more than 30 minutes! Apparently the workers were too distracted by Baywannncay’s presence that they completely disregarded the rest of the world. The lady was balling her eyes out when they finally decided to remember her..SMH!

Is Brooklyn in the house…well, at least the wife of a Brooklyn alum was. Yesterday, Mrs. Carter was caught enjoying the roller coaster rides in Coney Island. While shooting for her next video, Beyonce rocks a hat, very fitting for the location. Hit the jump and watch as Bey enjoys the festivities like a regular citizen. LOL!
(Photos) Two Bodies Found In Coney Island Creek After THIS Happened!!!
While friends of the victims watched, officials pulled two bodies out of the Coney Island. The two dead include 44-year-old Willie Tom and 29-year-old Celine Fu. They got into the water by way of a friend’s personal watercraft when an abrupt turn caused Fu to fly out into the water. Once Tom noticed, he wasted no time jumping in to attempt a rescue.

There are few things that are as American as piling an enormous amount of hot dogs for honor at Nathan’s annual hot dog eating contest. This year’s winner, Joey Chestnut, who’s won this contest for the last seven years, set a new record by downing 69 hot dogs in ten minutes at the Coney Island contest. After months of repairs on areas affected by Hurricane Sandy, businesses in areas such as the Rockaways or Coney Island are open for customers this Memorial Day weekend. The Rockaways boardwalk is still being repaired, and while it’s not 100% complete you can see it will be there soon. Rockaway Taco is up and running, and so are a few businesses, so check out what’s open and support your local businesses. Check out some photos in the gallery.
