DeMarcus Cousins is in Las Vegas to watch the Sacramento Kings summer league squad and had a hilarious fan interaction. It was more awkward than his run in with coach George Karl.

DeMarcus Cousins tweeted about George Karl being a snake in the grass after the Sacramento Kings new coach was reportedly pushing to have the franchise star traded. During the Kings summer league game on Monday night, the two finally met face to face again and shook hands. The exchange was pretty awkward but Karl spoke with the media afterwards and sounded optimistic about repairing their relationship.

Trade talks surrounding DeMarcus Cousins have kicked into high gear the past few days with the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers reportedly actively working towards a deal. Another report surfaced that Cousins wants to play for the New York Knicks. Initially it was reported that Cousins had issues with the management of the team but wanted to remain in Sacramento. New head coach George Karl is reportedly the person that wants Cousins out while Vlade Divac and Vivek Ranadivé seemingly don’t. A Twitter user tweeted Cousins about the situation and Cousins reiterated that he wants to stay with the Kings.

The rift between Sacramento Kings forward, Demarcus Cousins and head coach George Karl have been well known for some time now and took new heights after Cousins appeared to throw shade at Karl on twitter. Well now its being reported that if Cousins is traded, the Knicks are at the top of his list concerning the destinations on where he wants to go.

Cousins although frustrated with the direction of the team, gave no indication that he was looking to leave. Well they brought in George Karl as head coach and now HE reportedly wants to trade Cousins. That of course rubbed Cousins the wrong way and as trade rumors heated up yesterday, he threw out a not so cryptic tweet early Tuesday morning.
