Tashera Simmons, Shaniqua Tompkins and more have been cast to appear on the TLC series “Starter Wives.” Confirmed by the network Tuesday, the series will share the lives of seven women who supported their former husbands/boyfriends before the fame and wealth made them the men they are today. File this under things we don’t care about but need to report on anyway! DMX vs. Fredro Starr? Hold on, my beeper is going off! Apparently, X said a few things about the former Onyx rapper during a recent interview to promote his new album. X had said that one of his [many] baby mothers had beaten him up back in the day. Once Fredro got wind, he went with the typical “reply with a video on YouTube” route. “This n*gga X talking sh*t right now, If he ever try it again/He be in front of the firing pen,” he rapped in “16 Barrs With Firestar.” “If his crew front, there be a lot of dying men/At the funeral, family and crying friends.” Yawn. X has decided to respond, but not in the form of music. In a statement to TMZ, he basically said Fredro can buzz off and stop using him for relevancy. Ha! Check out the full statement below.
