Wow, Woman Admits She LIED On Emmett Till And He NEVER Whistled At Her

It has been revealed that the woman who claimed Emmett Till whistled at her, Carolyn Bryant Donham, actually lied about the whole thing, then confessed in 2007. The admission was given to author Timothy Tyson, and Vanity Fair just did a deep dive into his new book, The Blood of Emmett Till, where he reveals the confession. A whole life lost because a woman chose to lie on a young man. SO sad. Read an except from Vanity Fair below.


Sad: Emmett Till Memorial Sign Found Riddled In Bullets

A film student at NYU was working on a documentary on Emmett Till, when they came across quite the chilling sight. There is a sign marking where Till’s body was removed from the river in Mississippi, and sadly, it was riddled in bullets. “Clear evidence that we’ve still got a long way to go,” Kevin Wilson Jr. wrote when he posted the image to Facebook.
