(Photos) Young Thug & Metro Boomin Peace It Up – And Deny A Publicity Stunt

After their Twitter jabs turned to real threats, people started getting nervous about the beef between frequent collaborators, Young Thug and Metro Boomin. In the midst of their back-and-forth, however, Thug uploaded a preview of a new video to Instagram…interestingly produced by – you guessed it – Metro Boomin. Turns out, they squashed the beef that quickly! In a Periscope stream from the video’s director last night, Thug and Metro could be seen joking on FaceTime. The director then added:

“They brothers. Metro and Thug really brothers, they really started out together. You can’t beef with your own brother, you just have your words and that’s it.”

Young Thug Says He Wasn’t Talking About Future, But Then Comes For Him After Sub-Tweet

Yesterday morning, Young Thug came at his frequent collaborator on Twitter, Metro Boomin. Thug had been upset at some of his tweets, feeling that Metro was insinuating that he was biting off of Future. (Catch up on that here.) Following the blogs picking up on it, Thug wanted to clear up that he has nothing against Future, and Metro wanted to clear up that he wasn’t talking about Thug. But then a subtweet from Future seemed to sneak its way in…

The past year has possibly been the best year an artist could have for rapper, Future. Over the course of 2015, Future has been able to crank out three successful mixtapes, a number one solo album and a joint album with Drake that has already gone gold. He’s followed in the footsteps of artists like Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne, and made putting out multiple projects at a time, the “not so-secret” to his success and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
