Things are looking for Gucci Mane! Several months ago fans, were disappointed after Gucci’s label, 1017 Records, announced that Gucci Mane would be released from prison this coming March. The Atlanta rapper is currently serving a 39-month bid in an Indiana federal prison on a firearm possession charge. After doing some serious investigating and fact-checking however, it was learned that Guwop was indeed getting out in March just not this year but 2017. In a more recent search of the prisons database, Gucci Mane’s release date has been moved up from March 2017 to September 20, 2016. The countdown to Guwop has officially begun! Earlier this week, both Gucci Mane’s Instagram and Twitter accounts disappeared, leaving many to speculate for a reason behind it. His label eventually set social media into a frenzy when they said their star would be out in March…and though he will be, they didn’t mean THIS March. Bossip did some fact-checking and it turns out La Flare will finish his 39-month sentence in an Indiana federal prison until March 6, 2017. Rather fitting with his 1017 imprint, no? It seems that Gucci Mane has gone completely off the grid by deleting both his Twitter and Instagram accounts. It remains unclear when exactly this happened, however when doing a search for his Instagram or Twitter both come back with some variation of “this account does not exist.” Fans have been losing their minds trying to figure out how they will keep up on all the latest Guwop happenings. Gucci recently dropped his mixtape East Atlanta Santa 2 and announced upon his release he would be gong on a 20-city Stars of the Trap Tour. Being in jail hasn’t hindered Gucci Mane from released a steady stream of new music constantly – and apparently it’s not stopping him from working on potential films as well! Taking to Instagram yesterday, La Flare shared a photo of himself with famed director of Kids and Spring Breakers fame, Harmony Korine! If you’ll recall, Gucci had an appearance in Spring Breakers as “Archie,” so perhaps they’re looking to work together once again? Hmm! Time will soon tell.
