(Photos)The Faces Of Poverty In The Bronx’s Hunts Point

A Wall Street worker left his great paying job to roam the streets of New York with a camera in his hand snapping pics of life in the big city.  Which other city can offer that much diversity? He worked and lived the life everyone wants, Wall Street worker , wealthy, and living luxurious. Yet, he stumbled into the Bronx and saw a life the complete opposite of what he knew and chose to photograph it over a comfortable place in the financial district.  Known as New York’s “Red Light District”, Hunts Point, was flooded with prostitutes, homeless people, and people fighting their addictions or fighting to get their fix.  Hit the jump for pics that he captured.
