Oh Gawd! Big Sean Adds An Awesome New Accolade To His Resume!

Big Sean was introduced to the masses in 2011 with his debut album Finally Famous, and its success was thanks in part to “Marvin & Chardonnay,” his Kanye West-assisted single that went number one on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Also going number one from that album was the Chris Brown-assisted “My Last,” which hit the top of Billboard’s Rap charts. In 2012, Sean was credited as the lead on “Mercy” off the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer, and that too went on to hit number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Though he just released the video to “Paradise,” Big Sean is already hard at work on the visual to “IDFWU.” The track was an immediate standout of the 4 songs he put out at once last month, so it’s no surprise the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is pushing forward with promotion on it. Last night in Santa Clarita, California, MTV caught up with Sean on set, and gave us some BTS action – making it clear to see that there’s a football theme throughout. In the video, shot at College of the Canyons football field, Sean plays a quarterback, while the song’s featured guest E-40 is a football commentator, the song’s producer DJ Mustard is one of Sean’s teammates and the song’s other producer and Sean’s CEO, Kanye West, is the team’s coach. Sounds like it’s going to be dope! Go on the set below.
