The Indianapolis Colts played the Kansas City Chiefs for the first Wild Card game of the playoffs and boy was it a great one.  The Colts had a miraculous comeback to win the game 45-44 led by their star quarterback Andrew Luck.  Following the game Colts punter Pat McAfee tweeted a photo trying to show Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri being interviewed but he unintentionally included a naked Luck in the background.


NFL: Cleveland Browns Were Worried About Trent Richardson’s Entourage

It was quite the shocker when the Cleveland Browns suddenly traded their star running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts.  In exchange they received a first-round draft pick adding to their stockpile as their prepare for the 2014 draft.  While it is true that the Browns are looking to the future there’s another reason Richardson worried them.

NFL: Indianapolis Colts Safety Joe Lefeged Arrested on Multiple Gun Charges

In a week filled with off-the-field drama, we’re not out of the woods just yet.  Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested early Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., on multiple gun-related charges after fleeing from authorities, Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Araz Alali told NFL.com and NFL Network.  Read more after the jump.


NFL: Bruce Arians Named Coach of the Year

With Chuck Pagano in the hospital battling leukemia, offensive coordinator Bruce Arians took over as head coach and led the Indianapolis Colts to a magical season.  With that he was rightfully named Coach of the Year.  Read more after the jump.


NFL: Arizona Cardinals Hire Bruce Arians As New Coach

Remember about 2 weeks ago when we did a story the day 7 coaches wound up getting fired in the NFL the first Monday after the regular season was over, called “Black Monday”? Remember later that week, one more coach was fired to bring the total to 8? Well with the Cardinals hiring Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, that officially closes the last coaching spot that was still open. Things move fast in the NFL, and it is not always the game itself. Arians made the most out of an unexpected opportunity. He was promoted to Colts interim head coach for most of the season while Head coach Chuck Pagano underwent cancer treatment. In his absence the Colts went 9-3 with a rookie quarterback.
