After around 7 months of dating, Mariah Carey is officially engaged to her billionaire boyfriend, James Packer. Australia’s fourth richest man popped the question last night in NYC at a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park, while Mariah’s close friends and family were all in attendance – something James put together as a surprise to his bride-to-be. This will be the third marriage for each. No word on when the wedding will happen, but it will likely happen this year. Congrats to the happy couple!
Nick Cannon Will Not Be Getting Married Again After Split With Mariah Carey
It’s been over a year since Nick Cannon and his wife of six year Mariah Carey have spilt, and just last month Cannon filed for divorce. In a recent interview with DuJour magazine, Cannon opened up about being a bachelor again, and revealed he will probably never get married again. Nick Cannon, who’s the new face of RadioShack, said, “I feel like marriage isn’t for everyone,” he continued, “A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said, ‘If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn’t go skydiving.’ Read more below.
Mariah Carey Hospitalized With The Flu
Like many of us right now (myself included,) Mariah Carey has come down with the flu – but her case is so severe, it’s landed her in an NYC hospital! Mimi was reportedly “so dehydrated and ill” following an appearance at Pier 1 last night, that her team made the call to get her emergency treatment – especially because she has a big concert in New Jersey on Saturday. Mariah Carey has been living the good life with her new billionaire boo, James Packer. In fact she’s so happy with her new man that she has decided to move in with him! After Halloween, she apparently packed her bags and moved in with Packer, whose house is only five minutes from the one she has been renting. She didn’t just take clothes with her, though. Sources have revealed that Carey took furniture, bedding and all of that stuff. Looks like the home invasion has begun!
