Here It Is…The Drop Date For Meek Mill’s, ‘DreamChasers 3’

We’ve been waiting…some more patiently then others, but at least we have a date now. Meek Mill has finally informed us on when to expect DreamChasers 3 [DC3]. If you’re as excited as I am, you’ll hit the jump to get the details.

(Photos + Video) YMCMB Honors Drake At Private Dinner

Following Drake’s performance at the 2013 VMA’s last night, the YMCMB team gathered in a private room at Philippe Chow in midtown Manhattan to celebrate the forthcoming release of his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same. Almost a full repeat of the night before (when the guys bought out the entire restaurant for a private dinner,) tons of people came through to show Drake love…or just happened to be in the restaurant so they slid through anyway. Birdman, Slim, DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana, Juelz Santana, Kimbella, Selena Gomez (she didn’t come say hi to Drake, LOL), The Weeknd, Mack Maine, Meek Mill, Caskey and Busta Rhymes were all in the building, and I’m sure I’m even missing some names. Drake gave a speech about how he is so glad he never went anywhere else but YMCMB, but it does stick out to me that Nicki Minaj wasn’t in attendance. Lil Wayne wasn’t either, but that’s simply because he wasn’t in town. Hmm! Check out some pics from the night in the gallery and a funny video of producer Detail showing Drake his “dance” to his new single below.

Okay…So, Pap went and remixed Meek Mill’s “Dreams And Nightmares” track. Hit the jump, check it out and then post your thoughts. Should Pap [and the 10 people in this visual] have done this track?

(Video) Here We Go! Wale Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s “Control!”

This is what I love – rappers that think they are hot stuff, but don’t act like it! For a while now, Wale has said that he’s trying to kill his fellow rapping peers lyrically. So far he’s been doing a great job at keeping others on their toes, until… In comes Kendrick Lamar with, “Control.” Naming artists like Meek Mill, Drake, “Jermaine Cole,” Wale and a few others, Kendrick shut the hip-hop scene down. Rappers are making attempts at bringing their A+ game. Now that Kendrick has ruffled a few feathers, Wale has this to say…”I still feel like I’m the best rapper on the planet.” LOL! Love it! Hit the jump to see what else Wale had to say.

(Video) Meek Mill – Levels

I can’t lie…I’m a little disappointed. Meek Mill built “Levels” up to, well, high levels before it even dropped, coining the phrase “It’s levels to this sh*t” and having it used by fans and fellow entertainers alike. When the song hit, it definitely got some burn, but it didn’t resonate as hard as “I’m A Boss” did two summers ago…much like it seemed that it would. Add to that a pretty lengthy waiting period for a visual, which is also rather disappointing because it’s the stereotypical whips and chicks situation, and you just have a total sub-par experience. I’m not sure what level this is, but it’s not very high. I absolutely love Meek as an artist, and I know he could have come a lot harder with the vid, and a lot quicker! Pause where applicable. Am I being too hard on him, or do you agree? Sound off in the comments!
