Two of the show’s dynamic characters, Red and Crazy Eyes, sat down with MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry to discuss the dehumanization and stories that go on in the system. This comes at a perfect time–our nation’s prisons are severely overcrowded, and the private prison institution makes a ton of money on individuals who haven’t even committed violent or serious crimes.
