NBA: Michael Jordan Speaks Out on Shootings of African-Americans & Police

While many athletes of the past and present have spoken out about racial injustice and violence, Michael Jordan for the most part had remained silent.  In fact, his silence was the topic of criticism as he continued to make millions from young African Americans.  Today he announced that he could no longer remain silent.  While he finally spoke out, he didn’t exactly choose a side.  He instead saw things from both points of views and wants to come to a resolution.

NCAAF: Michael Jordan Will Be Captain Of Michigan’s Football Team For Their First Game This Season

The Michigan Wolverines home opener on September 3rd against Hawaii just got a bit more interesting. The game itself will likely not be too competitive, as Michigan is expected to run through their schedule this year until their meeting with Ohio State in November but it was announced yesterday that Michael Jordan will be captaining the Wolverines that day and that alone is worth watching.

NBA: Tim Duncan On Being Unimpressed By Michael Jordan And Not Liking Him

I’ve heard plenty of people speak on not being the biggest fan of Michael Jordan’s personality but I’ve never heard someone talk about being “unimpressed” by him on the basketball court. Then again, there aren’t many people like Tim Duncan either. During his rookie year in 1998, Duncan gave a memorable interview to Dan Patrick. The Q&A style interview was published in the year 2000 in Patrick’s book called “Outtakes” and yesterday, Stefan Bondy of the NYDN, dug up the highlights and Duncan really seemed to dislike Jordan and loved a young Stephon Marbury.

In 1997, Tracy McGrady was selected at the ninth overall pick in the NBA draft and was on his way to play with the Raptors in Toronto. It turns out however that he was very close to going to Chicago instead to play with Michael Jordan as the Bulls were secretly having discussions to trade Scottie Pippen for McGrady. When Jordan found out about the plan in place, he quickly killed the deal and robbed McGrady of his chance to play with the goat!

NBA: Poem That Michael Jordan Wrote To His Elementary Crush Is Now Up For Auction

Michael Jordan loved to talk when he was a player but he was practicing his way with words many years before he ever became the GOAT. Jordan wrote a poem to his elementary school crush back in the day and now in 2016 you can own it via auction.

NBA: Michael Jordan Once Hustled Scottie Pippen Out Of $100 Per Game For An Entire Season

This story is kinda foul but also funny as hell at the same time. Michael Jordan is ruthless, which is something we already knew but man, what he did to Scottie Pippen for basically an entire season is down right ice cold.
