Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” video was very anticipated and for good reason, the song seems to be everywhere. Kendrick sat down with Miss Info while he was in NYC for two sold out shows to break down the video as well as why he chose the lead girl. The rapper said that a light-skinned girl was first picked for the lead but he wanted a dark-skinned model because he’s tired of seeing only one type of girl be cast as a model saying, “It’s almost like a color blind industry where there’s only one type of appeal to the camera.” I think Britanny Sky was a perfect pick for the lead girl. Miss Info spoke to A$AP Rocky about the year that he’s had. A$AP has had plenty of ups but a few downs as well. As you know Rocky blew up like crazy this year as well as many members of the A$AP Mob, which is what Rocky was hoping for. It seemed like for a while no matter where you went, a Rocky song was playing and he was expected to release his debut album. The beginning of the year was great for Rocky, but the last few months of 2012 seem to be the opposite for his personal and professional life. Not only did his album get pushed back, but it also sprung a serious leak and many questioned his “fashion” sense.
