Angry Birds, Instagram and Facebook are this years most downloaded, and mobile phone phone users are spending some 2 hours a day on all of their apps combined. That makes it an increase of 35 percent over the last year, this is all according to analytics firm Flurry. This number is sure to grow as better and more mobile devices are available to the public. With everything being a finger tip away you can see why we spend so much time on apps wither its playing a casual games, watching videos on Youtube, Twitting and surfing the web some people may out do that 2 hour average easily. New Microsoft Mobile OS Coming In 2013
Word is Microsoft is looking to release a new mobile os in 2013 called “Windows Blue” according to PC Beta. The newer version of windows mobile users will get customization options (sort of like Androids Jellybean) in which they would be able to resize tiles. A user PC Beta’s forum also says Microsoft plans on keeping “desktop view” hoping to make a better Metro UI. Lets hope Microsoft gets it together with its Tablet and mobile devices. Tech Talk News: Americans Leaving Landlines For Mobile
So what do you when most homes in America have cellphones or Smartphone, you get rid of the landline you have in your home of course. That’s what one third of America has done, according to the National Health Interview Survey for 2012 about 34% have dumped their landlines in favor of their mobile device. The survey also says about 16% of mobile users receive almost all their calls on their mobile device. The survey also says 40% of Americans ages 18 and younger don’t use landline at all.
