NBA: Knicks Protest This Week Still on Despite Phil Jackson Hiring

TRUST ME when I say I get it, but the Phil Jackson hiring didn’t help at all?!  At the beginning of the month we learned that some fans are planning a protest against owner James Dolan this Wednesday (as Knicks take on the Pacers).  Well apparently the protest is still on — the Zen Master hiring hasn’t changed their minds. Hit the jump for details…

NBA: Knicks Fans Planning Protest March 19th at MSG

No one should be surprised at this.  Knicks fans are FED up.  It hurts to suck the way we do.  The jokes are nonstop and Knicks fans are taking charge.  They plan to protest at Madison Square Garden before the game on March 19th.  Hit the jump for details…

(Video) NBA: ICYMI, Knicks Hardaway Jr Soars For The Putback Dunk Over Ray Allen!

Everything was going right for the Knicks last night in their win over the Miami Heat. Shot were falling, they were playing team ball, everyone was making an effort. One of the best plays of the night came courtesy of rookie Tim Hardaway Jr, who threw down a sick dunk off a missed jumper by Amar’e Stoudemire, right over the back of Ray Allen. It immediately brought the garden to it’s feet. Hit the jump.

(Photo) NBA: LOL, Knicks Are So Bad Melo Can’t Watch

The Knicks are bad. And when they are bad, they are really, really bad. I have lost track of how many times we have been blown out this season already, but yesterday the team added another milestone that they do not want to be associated with. The 29 point loss to the Thunder was the biggest loss by a home team EVER on Christmas day. Now Carmelo did not play which would of made a difference, but not really sure how much. Things were so bad at one point that the camera flashed to the Knicks bench and all you see is Melo with his head back looking completely knocked out lol. Guess he just couldn’t take the pain of seeing another beatdown. We need Melo back healthy ASAP. Hit the jump for the pic.

(Video) NBA: Carmelo Goes Off For 45 Points, But Knicks Lose

Carmelo Anthony was on fire all night at MSG, but in the end it wasn’t enough. Melo scored a season high 45 points from all over the court, and got some help from Andrea Bargnani with 24 points, but the Rockets took the game 109-106. Thankfully as a Knicks fan myself Jeremy Lin did not go off in his second game back at MSG since he left New York. Hit the jump for the highlights. Even with the defeat I am impressed with the better team game they have played the past couple games.

(Video) Macklemore Spits A Freestyle At Madison Square Garden Concert

Last night, Seattle invaded NYC as Macklemore returned to the Big Apple to perform the first of 3 sold out shows at the world famous Madison Square Garden. At one point during the concert, the “Thrift Shop” rapper kicked a freestyle over an acoustic version of A Tribe Called Quest’s “Can I Kick It.” Check it out below!
