On Thursday an accident nearly occurred as a man fell into the train tracks at the Bowling Green station in New York City. Witness say that as another man tried to help pull the first victim out of the tracks they either fell in or got pulled into the tracks as well. So now two people are standing in the tracks as a 5 train came barreling into the station. UPDATE: Governor Cuomo To Suspend MTA Service Tonight & Close Schools On Monday Due To Hurricane Sandy
Governor Cuomo has announced that he will be suspending all MTA services tonight. All rail services will be closed by 7 p.m. and all bus services will be suspended by 9 p.m. in preparation for Hurricane Sandy. New York City has already announced that it will be setting up shelter in 65 public schools for people living in low-lying areas, some people have been urged to evacuate, The New York City Police Department is also mobilizing, and schools will be closed on Monday. Apparently this mans parents never taught him to “keep his hands to himself”. A woman riding the 4 Train in Manhattan was sexually assaulted by a complete stranger right in front of other passengers!
