Former Detroit Lion Ndamukong Suh signed a mega contract with the Miami Dolphins worth up $114 million.  Like other athletes before him such as Alex Rodriguez and LeBron James, Suh sought out the financial advice of billionaire Warren Buffett.  The two appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box and engaged in an arm wrestle they claim they had before.

The Detroit Lions suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday eliminating them from the playoffs and tying the NFL record of eight straight playoff losses.  Emotions ran high especially due to the non-call controversy.  Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is one of the most feared players in the NFL but the normally stern, tough guy showed his soft side as Ndamukong Suh cries during the postgame press conference.

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh won his appeal of a one-game suspension for stepping on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.  Though Suh will be able to play during the Lions playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, he still has to pay a $70,000 fine.  Suh has built up a reputation for being a dirty player but during his appeal hearing he says stepping on Rodgers was unintentional and it happened because his feet were numb.

Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh was initially suspended for their upcoming playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys for stepping on Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers leg.  Suh won his appeal of the suspension but he was still fined $70,000.  While some people felt he deserved the punishment, some said it was unintentional and the league used a heavy hand because 1. Suh has a reputation and past history of dirty tactics and 2. the league has a very soft spot for Aaron Rodgers and does everything possible to protect him.  Well Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford’s fiancée is apart of the latter group.


NFL: Report, Ndamukong Suh Suspended For Lions Playoff Game For Stepping On Aaron Rodgers

This had to be expected and I am personally happy it did. Ndamukong Suh was suspended for the Detroit Lions playoff game next week against the Dallas Cowboys for stepping on Aaron Rodgers twice during the game with the Packers yesterday. It was clear Suh did it on purpose regardless of how much he denies it. This is one of those cases where your past acts catch up with you as you look like a dirty player.

Smart move by this NFL player if you ask me!!  If anyone can help his rep, it’s Hov — and get him paid at the same damn time!  Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports has announced it’s latest signing & it’s defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. He’s in the final year of his rookie deal with the Detroit Lions&  switched to Jay’s team to handle contract talks (and more).  This should be interesting!! NFL: League’s $31,500 Fine Against Ndamukong Suh Was to Get His “Attention”

It seems like NFL fines and Ndamukong Suh go hand in hand.  Soon after losing his appeal on a history making $100,000 fine, Suh received another one after a hit on Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden.  An NFL executive says there’s a special reason the fine was handed down.  Read more after the jump.
