Jeezy’s fifth major-label release, Seen It All: The Autobiography, hit stores this past Tuesday. Unlike his previous releases, Tha Snowman doesn’t really have a huge single from the album getting serious air-play on the radio, but according to early sales projections, it doesn’t seem like that’s going to hurt him too much!

Ariana Grande’s new album My Everything debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 this week, making for the second number 1 album in less than a year for the 21-year-old singer. Her debut album, Yours Truly, topped the charts when it was released in September of 2013, which means Ariana is now the first woman to debut on top with her first two albums since Adele in 2010. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 8/24/14 … Congrats To Wiz Khalifa On His FIRST #1 Album!

A huge congrats are in order for Wiz Khalifa, as he’s earned his first number one album with Blacc Hollywood. The project marks his third major-label release, following up 2011’s Rolling Papers and 2012’s O.N.I.F.C. Both albums debuted and peaked at number 2, but Blacc Hollywood‘s solid start of 90k finally gave Wiz that top spot. Well deserved, a nice contrast to the bad news Wiz had last weekend. It’s definitely been a major year for movie soundtracks on the Billboard 200. The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack reigns at number one once again, moving another 93,000 copies for its second week on the charts. Check out the full top 10 below.


Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 8/10/14

The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack has risen to number 1 on the Billboard 200 this week, becoming the second chart-topping soundtrack of 2014. The project, subtitled Awesome Mix Vol. 1, sold 109k for its third week, and now follows Frozen as the second soundtrack to top the chart this year. Both albums were released by the Disney Music Group, so they just keep on getting those checks! Get the full top 10 below.
