Today we pay tribute to the life and music of deceased rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard or ODB. The Wu-Tang clan founding member passed away on this day in 2004, just two days before his 36th birthday. After Wu-Tang exploded on the music scene in 1993 with the album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),” ODB became notorious for his wild behavior and his hit singles “Brooklyn Zoo”,”Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and much, much more!! ODB’s “Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version” To Be Re-Released

Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s iconic solo album Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version is being set to be re-released. The album will be re-mastered, feature remixes and instrumentals, unheard music and come as a wallet box set. The set will contain rare, limited edition material. Brooklyn Zoo” is the debut single of the Hip-hop artist, Ol’ Dirty Bastard from the album, Return to the 36 Chambers Released in (1995). After the Wu-Tang Clan started releasing solo efforts, Ol’ Dirty Bastard was second behind Method Man to release a solo album with Return to the 36 Chambers. This is Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s 2nd highest charting single, behind Got Your Money. Everyday at 5pm we post a classic video that meant something in hip hop..
