Omar Mateen’s Co-Worker Speaks Out On The Type Of Person He Was

Daniel Gilroy, former Fort Pierce police officer who once worked with Mateen has now spoken out on the type of person he was. Gilroy says Mateen was “unhinged and unstable.” Gilroy worked a shift with G4S Security at the south gate at PGA Village for several months. His hours were 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Mateen worked from 3pm to 11pm. He says Mateen made homophobic and racial remarks all the time. Gilroy actually quit his job due to the fact that Mateen began stalking him sending him 20-30 text messages a day. He also sent Gilroy 13-15 phone messages a day. The higher up’s at the job did nothing to help stop the stalking.

(Video) Orlando Shooter’s Father Speaks Out; Denounces Homosexuals But Offers Condolences

“If he was alive today, I was gonna ask him – why did he do this? Why did he do it?” Orlando shooter Omar Mateen’s father has spoken out, and he is as shocked as the rest of the world that his son has committed such a horrific crime. He apologizes and offers his condolences, but in a now-deleted clip, he also seemed to agree with his son’s motives. The Washington Post reports that the father posted a Facebook video, speaking in Dari, saying God will punish homosexuals, and it’s not the place for the “servants of God.” The video has since been removed. Check out the Post’s interview with Seddique Mateen below.

FBI Updates Orlando Victims To 49; CNN Says NO Evidence Linking Him To ISIS

Orlando PD gave a press conference today to discuss mass murderer Omar Mateen, and cleared up some previous incorrect reports. The death toll has been moved down to 49 from the originally reported 50, as it’s Mateen himself that’s actually the 50th person killed. They also revealed that Mateen had plans to keep going, which prompted their decision to take him out, despite the fact that he was holding hostages. In a related update, CNN’s Chief National Security correspondent, Jim Sciutto, tweeted that a US official says there is NO evidence that supports claims that Mateen had contact or communication with ISIS central. However, he also notes that to be an ISIS recruit, “lone wolves are equally powerful weapons for them” and they don’t necessarily have to be in contact.

(Photos) Orlando Brown Seems To Be Very Confused About ‘The Pray For Orlando’ Hashtag

Orlando Brown has sadly mistaken the “pray for Orlando” hashtag with himself. As we all know early Sunday morning there was an attack on an Orlando nightclub which resulted in fifty deaths. Orlando Brown may be trying to be funny but to be honest there is a time and place for everything and his post to me personally was a little insensitive to the situation at hand.
