Samsung has announced that it has acquired 10 percent stake in the company, Pantech. This percentage cost Samsung about $48 million.

Samsung Galaxy S4 may have a new rival coming soon. A leaked invitation hints Pantech will be making a special announcement on April 18 for its smartphone Vega Iron. According to reports, the new smartphone will feature a 5-inch display with a full HD 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.
