A nurse at the UK hospital Kate Middleton was staying during pregnancy complications tragically took her own life on Friday, after being the victim of a phone prank from two radio personalities in Australia. It’s a controversial topic, as many argue that the two radio guys shouldn’t be held accountable as they could have never foreseen such drastic events transpiring as a result of their call, while on the other hand, her death was a direct result (or was it?) of their actions. Kate Middleton Prank Has The Australian Radio Show Terminated… For GOOD
The company that owns the station that was responsible for that Kate Middleton prank has officially canceled for good. Not only have they terminated the show but implemented “a company-wide suspension of ‘prank’ calls.” Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) issued the statement that they are in deep regret, but they don’t believe they’ve done anything wrong. They’re extremely sorry for death of Jacintha Saldanha, hospital nurse, which followed the prank. TMZ explains the radio station, “take the events of the last few days very seriously.” They’ve even reached out to the hospital, but as you can expect, they got no response.
