There may be a peace treaty coming between Drake and Meek Mill – which is great, considering how serious it got recently. According to N.O.R.E. on his Drink Champs podcast, Drake and Meek’s MMG boss Rick Ross met up with Drizzy was in Miami last week, hashing out issues over some steak at Prime 112. “Listen, if that rumor is correct, that’s what we need to happen. Meek Mill, Drake, Ross, f*ck beef. I’m just saying, I got the word, I don’t even think I’m supposed to blow it up,” N.O.R.E. said. “Let’s leave that shit the f*ck alone, I love both of y’all, both of y’all my people’s. Y’all both got my phone number, Ross got my phone number. But let’s leave that beef in the past. Lil Wayne, Birdman, let’s make sure Wayne is happy.” If this really happened, that’s great to hear! Over the weekend, Lil Wayne alarmed fans when he took to Twitter to say he’s “defenseless and mentally defeated,” adding that he’d be “leaving gracefully” because he’s done. Was this a retirement announcement, due to all of the drama with Birdman? It’s highly likely, and his industry peers came out in droves to let him know they’re with him.
Rick Ross has now issued a warning to Drake in light of the recent Meek Mill drama. Ross spoke on the “Drink Champs” podcast when N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN.
