NFL: Ex-Bear Sam Hurd Indicted on 2 Drug-Dealing Counts; Faces 10 Years to Life

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl A federal grand jury in Dallas indicted former Chicago Bears receiver Sam Hurd and alleged co-conspirator Toby Lujan on Wednesday, each with one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, and one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, U.S. attorney Sarah R. Saldana of the Northern District of Texas announced.


NFL: Sam Hurd Wants to Play in the NFL Again This Season

Hurd was arrested on Wednesday night at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Rosemont, Ill., and the criminal complaint against him describes the receiver as regularly dealing large amounts of drugs in Chicago.
