Mayor De Blasio has just signed a bill that will allow free tampons and pads to be stocked in bathrooms at city schools and given out at homeless shelters and jails. New York is the first state to have free access to feminine hygiene products.

The chef-turned-actor actually appeared in a Tampax commercial, where the woman asks random men in passing to go buy her tampons as she watched her bike. “I was in a Tampon commercial a couple years back hahaha,” Action tweeted yesterday. “She had just asked me to buy her tampons….
