NBA: Team USA Announces Final 12-Man Roster, Found Out Who Made It & Who Got Cut!

Team USA played it’s final exhibition game against Puerto Rico last night at Madison Square Garden.  Shortly after, coach Mike Krzyzewski announced the final 12-man roster that will head to Spain for the World Cup.

Kyrie Irving went Uncle Drew last night as he hit Juan Coronado with a killer crossover then sunk a jumper in Team USA’s game against the Dominican Republic.  Team USA destroyed the Dominican Republic 105-62.

Kevin Durant said Anthony Davis will be the league MVP soon.  Coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. said within two years, Davis will be the third best player in the league.  He’s certainly helping them prove their points.  Klay Thompson lobbed it to Anthony Davis who outran everybody on the court and finished with an emphatic slam.  Davis finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in Team USA’s exhibition game against Brazil.


NBA: Derrick Rose Says He Has No Fears About Getting Hurt Again After Witnessing Paul George’s Injury

Paul George’s gruesome leg injury drew a lot of criticism towards international play and the risk of injury to big NBA stars.  It’s even said to be part of the reason Kevin Durant withdrew from the team.  Derrick Rose however says he has no fears even though he witnessed George’s injury and he’s suffered two season-ending knee injuries of his own.


NBA: Jerry Colangelo Reveals the Real Reason Kevin Durant Left Team USA

Team USA lost two big names when Paul George suffered a devastating leg injury and Kevin Durant withdrew shortly after.  Durant cited physical and mental exhaustion, many speculated that Durant left because of George’s injury; USA Basketball managing director Jerry Colangelo revealed the real reason and it was a mixture of it all.
