Fans have uncovered a never before heard phone conversation between Tupac and a friend,Sanyika Shakur, from 1995. During the conversation, the rapper spoke about the infamous 1994 Quad studio shooting, plans to write a book about Maya Angelou, and his album, All Eyez On Me. Recently a police officer from the scene of Tupac’s death enlightened us with the last words of the young rapper. Now there has just been a 22-minute audio clip released of Tupac on the phone with OG Sanyika “Monster” Shakur.

“This was me and Tupac’s first conversation. This was October 18th 1995. I had just gotten out of Pelican a month before, and Pac had been out a couple of days. We did not know we were being recorded. My wife pressed record on the answering machine and unbeknown to either of us, caught some bomb ass history.” – Sanyika Shakur

Tupac’s Cousin Raises Over 10 Million In Hope Of Telling The Lyricist’s True Story Through Film

Although the legendary West coast native, Tupac Shakur has been gone for 18 years, his legacy continues through his fans and visionaries putting in the work to paint the picture of the lyricist’s life. William Lesane, Tupac’s cousin is the latest visionary making an effort, and has raised $15 million in his process to create a future movie depicting the true life of Tupac.
