It’s an understood rule among black women that it is impolite to walk up and stick your hand in someone’s hair without permission. But a new art exhibit in New York is breaking the rules. In something like a social experiment three black women, one with loose, curly natural hair, one with locks and another with a relaxer, stood on a corner holding signs that read “You Can Touch My Hair.” pretty interesting you say?
