Curren$y dropped the video for Living For The City after shooting the visuals for the single last night. Though Curren$y’s LP, New Jet City features some of the dopest artist in hip hop, from Trinidad James to Rick Ross, and Wiz khalifa (obviously), this one is Spitta on his own. Say what you want about Jermaine Dupri and some of the previous So So Def roster, but at one point So So Def had the game on lock! Jermaine put together a dope line-up that were all over radio and elsewhere. Also, there’s no denying to So So Def remixes were great. Jermaine announced that he’s putting together a 20th anniversary concert for So So Def and told Hot 97’s Angie Martinez that a compilation album is also on the way! The So So Def honcho also said that not many of his artists have met each other since there’s a large year gap between them and he never forced them to work together as a group. Harlem rapper, Azealia Banks, adds her own flavor to the popular song, “Harlem Shake.” If you haven’t heard of the “Harlem Shake” it’s the new YouTube explosion where people just do random dances. Hot 97’s own Angie Martinez posted a video of her and some of the Hot 97 crew doing their version of the viral videos. Now Ms. Banks gives the track a few verses as well as a video. Watch below.
