ScHoolboy Q Debuts At #2 With ‘Blank Face LP’ + ‘Views’ Returns To #1

ScHoolboy Q makes a strong debut on the Billboard 200 this week, with his new album Blank Face coming in at number 2 with 74k units sold. In comparison, Q’s 2014 debut, Oxymoron, came in at number 1 with 139k in its first week. Meanwhile, Drake is back to number one after being temporarily knocked out by Blink-182 last week. Views sold another 92k, making it one of only 10 albums in the last 20 years to spend that long at the top. With one more week, Drake will become one of 8, and with two more weeks, he’ll be one of only five! There are no major releases on the horizon, so it doesn’t appear he’ll have many challengers. The big numbers to beat are the Titanic soundtrack with 16 weeks, and Adele with 21 at 24 weeks. Check out this week’s full top 10 below!

Blink-182 Knocks Drake Out Of The Top Spot On The Billboard 200

The culprit(s) are Blink-182, as the band’s comeback album California debuted at number one this week with 186k units sold. Drizzy follows behind at number two with 117k. Maxwell also had a strong debut this week, coming in at number three with his new project blackSUMMERS’night, selling 59k. Logic and Snoop Dogg didn’t fare as well, however. Logic’s surprise project Bobby Tarantino came in at number 13 with 20k, while Snoop’s Coolaid debuted all the way at 35 with 12k. Sheesh.
