Who knew Uncle Rush could get so gangsta? Russell Simmons recently took to twitter to beef with former editor at large for Vogue, Andre Leon Talley, about his statements criticizing Rush’s role in a controversial project. American Vogue’s editor-in-chief Ana Wintour found Miley Cyrus’ provocative and straight up nasty VMA performance to be “distasteful” to the point she pulled the 19-year-old from covering the world-renowned fashion mag. Wintour had intentions of making Miley the next big fashion icon but after the former Hannah Montana star began acting out, that idea got yanked ASAP to save the magazine’s rep. Yet another example of “when twerking goes wrong.” They should make that into a TV show or something.

Word on the street is that Katy Perry might be getting a major look soon: the cover of the “fashion bible,” Vogue Magazine! The pop star was previously featured in Teen Vogue, and despite the fact she’s been pretty MIA from the scene for a while, the mag is ready to give her the coveted spot to kick off her mini “comeback.” KP is said to be working on a new album at the moment, so this will more than likely coincide with either the project’s release or at the very least, its first single. Can’t wait to see what look she rocks for this one, as she’s known to REALLY go outside the box!
