Ok I know this is a fun blog and I don’t want to get all religious on here but Tim Tebow easily had the best game of his career tonight and his numbers for the game are downright spooky!!! Â Check it out after the jump.
A lot of people on twitter have been writing Tebow 3:16 referring to the young QB as a bible verse which also happens to be his favorite. Â For those of you unfamiliar with the actual verse it’s John 3:16 and it states:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Now everyone knows Tebow is a devoted Christian and is even sometimes referred to as God’s son because of his amazing, unbelievable 4th quarter comebacks.  Well tonight the Steelers and Broncos were tied at 23 and headed into overtime.  The new overtime rules state a team must score a touchdown to win and can no longer win on a field goal.  Well in the first possession of overtime Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass, winning the game 29-23 and sending the Steelers home.
What’s more electrifying about this win? Â Tebow had 316 passing yards and 31.6 yards per completion. Â Remember the 3:16 bible verse. Â Spooky huh?
