The acquisition of J.R. Smith could be both a good and bad thing for the Knicks. Â Smith adds toughness, defense and an additional shooter especially from behind the arc. Â The problem with Smith is his shots can become extremely erratic, his hot temper and from what I remember he and Carmelo Anthony didn’t always see eye to eye when they were both on the Nuggets. Â Smith however seems to show interest in joining the Knicks when he tweeted this:
I’m not sure where the money is going to come from to add him to the team but we’ll see what happens.
