Mariah Carey debuts music video for ‘Triumphant’
In Mariah Carey’s world, all that glitters really is gold.
The songbird shows her preference for sparkly things as well as her fighting spirit in the new music video for the inspirational single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em),” which she said she wrote after going through a tough time.
The clip, which also features an appearance from guest vocalists Meek Mill and Rick Ross, shows Carey take to the boxing ring. The mom of two is glamorous as ever, first as a ring girl decked out in a gold mini and crop top – if you haven’t heard, Carey’s worked hard on her post – “Dem Babies” body – and then as a spectator in a glimmering minidress.
The single is the first from her upcoming record. Carey told press earlier this month that with the new album, she’s not interested in following “any particular trend” but rather making music she loves that will make “the fans happy.”
